2nd Annual Taste of Hope Gala will be held at de Seversky Mansion of Old Westbury on Thursday, Oct. 27.

Old Westbury, NY - September 6, 2016 - On Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 6:30 PM- 9:30 PM, CN Guidance & Counseling Services, Inc. (Hicksville, NY), will be hosting its 2nd Annual “Taste of Hope” Gala, a fundraiser to support this nonprofit organization providing clinical treatment, rehabilitation, housing opportunities, social and support services, counseling and guidance to individuals, families and the community living with mental illness, developmental disabilities, psychological difficulties, and/or addiction.

Taste of Hope is a culinary event which will feature tastings from some of Long Island’s premier restaurants and bakeries, along with a raffle and silent auction for great gifts, fine wines and brews. The event will be held at de Seversky Mansion of Old Westbury, NY.

The evening will also recognize and honor two community members who have supported CN Guidance’s mission consistently. These are: Al Dunlop and Kevin Arnstein. Mr. Dunlop, ME, MME (mechanical engineer), is the President of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) North Shore and the First Vice President of NAMI Queens and NAMI Nassau. Mr. Arnstein, CHC, MPH, is the Executive Director/Employee Benefits of Cook Maran & Associates, a leading full-service insurance agency—trusted by community members and businesses to help them manage risk amidst unpredictability (Cook Maran has physical sites in East Hampton, Southampton and Melville, NY and Marlton and Fair Lawn, NJ). Serving as sponsors for the event are: Bethpage Federal Credit Union, Cook Maran & Associates, Alcott HR, Knockout Pest Control, DRP Solutions, Lamb & Barnosky, New York Community Bank, M&T Bank and NawrockiSmith.

Tickets are $125 per person. All proceeds to benefit CN Guidance & Counseling.
