NCPD Crime Alert: Suspect Wanted for Burlgarizing Woodmere Senior's Home

The Fourth Squad reports the details of a Burglary which occurred on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 2:14 P.M. in Woodmere.

Woodmere, NY - September 4th, 2014 - The Fourth Squad reports the details of a Burglary which occurred on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 2:14 P.M. in Woodmere.

According to detectives, a female victim, 74, after driving into the garage of her Longacre Avenue home, was approached by an unknown male who put his hand over her face and demanded her jewelry. The victim complied handing over undisclosed pieces of jewelry before the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.  No injuries were reported.

Detectives ask anyone with information about this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.  All callers will remain anonymous.
