Body Found Floating Near Atlantic Beach Bridge

The Fourth Squad reports the details of an Undetermined Homicide on September 3, 2014 in Atlantic Beach.

Atlantic Beach, NY - September 3, 2014 - According to Detectives, at 11:26am the body of a male victim was discovered floating in the water in the vicinity of the Atlantic Beach Bridge. The Nassau County Marine Bureau, Aviation, the Town of Hempstead Bay Constables, the New York City Marine Bureau and the Atlantic Beach Fire Department Rescue responded to assist in the investigation. The body was transported to the Nassau County Medical Examiner’s Office. The investigation is ongoing.
