Elmont, NY - August 31, 2016 - Assemblymember Michaelle Solages (Elmont-D) recognizes August’s Good Samaritan of the Month, twelve-year- old Elmont native and pageant star Djhinie Louis. Ms. Louis was chosen as a finalist in the 2016 National American Miss New York State Pageant, while winning 2016 Miss New York Pre-Teen Talent 4th Runner-up. In 2014, Djhinie was selected as Miss New York Jr. Pre-Teen Best Resume. “We wish Djhinie much success during her next competition this November in Hollywood. She is a very determined individual, and is an inspiration to all young girls,” stated Assemblywoman Solages.
