NCPD report the arrest of Xavier Dickson of Uniondale, 17, for an assault that occurred in East Meadow on Sunday, 8/27.

East Meadow, NY - August 28, 2017 - Third Squad detectives report the arrest of a Uniondale man for an assault that occurred in East Meadow on Sunday, 08/27/17 at 6:30 P.M.
 
According to detectives, Xavier Dickson, 17, while at Eisenhower Park Field #2, was playing basketball with several other males (unknown to him), became irate and struck a 17-year-old male victim on the face with a folding knife. The defendant tried to flee but was apprehended by witnesses until police arrival. The knife was recovered at the scene.
 
The victim was transported to a local hospital and required 20 stitches to the upper left side of his face.
 
Dickson is being charged with Assault 2nd Degree, Possession Dangerous Weapon 4th Degree and will be arraigned on Monday, 08/28/17.
