Man Wanted for Stealing from Cash Register at Port Jeff Station Tire Store

Port Jefferson Station, NY - August 27th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole money from a business in Port Jefferson Station this month.

A man entered Mavis Discount Tire, located at 4915 Nesconset Highway, at approximately 10:40 a.m. and removed money from the cash register.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
