Woman Wanted for Stealing Wallet from Purse in Centereach Walmart

Centereach, NY - August 26th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Sixth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the woman in relation to a larceny that occurred at a Wal-Mart in Centereach.

On Thursday, August 21, a woman’s wallet was stolen at the Wal-Mart, located at 161 Centereach Mall in Centereach.  The wallet was in the victim’s pocketbook.

Police are looking to identify the woman in the picture below.  She is described as a white female in her 20s with long dark hair.  She was wearing a blue shirt, dark pants and was carrying a zebra-print pocketbook.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
