Man Wanted for Stealing Tools from Parked Cars in Miller Place

Miller Place, NY - August 26th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Sixth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the person who stole tools in Miller Place last week.

On Monday, August 18, at approximately 2 a.m., a man stole assorted tools from three different vehicles parked in the driveway of a home, located at 101 Parkside Ave. in Miller Place. The suspect may be responsible for other vehicle break-ins that occurred that night, also on Parkside Avenue.

The suspect is descried as a white male, with dark hair, in his mid to late 20s. He was wearing a baseball cap, hooded sweatshirt, jacket and backpack.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
