Update: Third Teen Arrested for Wantagh Mugging

The First Squad reports the details of the arrest of three teens for Robbery that occurred on August 25, 2014 at 10:55 PM in Wantagh.

Ronkonkoma, NY - August 27, 2014 - First Squad detectives report the arrest of Alex Feliciano, 16, of 7 Stanley Ct.,  Ronkonkoma on Wednesday, 08/27/14 at 12:46 A.M., in connection with the below listed crime.   He is being charged with four counts of Robbery 2nd Degree and will be arraigned on Wednesday, 08/27/14 in First District Court, Hempstead.

Detectives ask anyone who may have been victimized by the above listed defendants to contact the First Squad at 516-573-6155.

Wantagh, NY - August 26th, 2014 - The First Squad reports the details of the arrest of two Holbrook men for Robbery that occurred on August 25, 2014 at 10:55 PM in Wantagh.

According to detectives, two fourteen year old male victims were at the corner of Johnston and Douglas Avenues to meet a person that they contacted on Facebook about buying sneakers for an arranged amount of US currency.  Defendants Joshua Dacunha, 18, of  Maple Avenue and Brandon Ward, 18, of Tarkington Road and another male (not yet arrested) arrived to the scene in a black Infiniti.  Defendants Dacunha, Ward and the third subject exited the vehicle displayed a black handgun and demanded property. 

The victims complied and the defendants fled the scene in the vehicle.  After an investigation and the assistance of Suffolk County Police Department both subjects were arrested at the home of Joshua Dacunha without incident. A black bb gun was recovered. There were no reported injuries.  Proceeds were an undetermined amount of US currency.

Defendants Dacunha and Ward are being charged with two counts of Robbery 2nd Degree and will be arraigned on August 26, 2014 at First District Court, Hempstead.
