League of Women Voters of New York State Launches Electronic Voter Guide for Primary Races

New York, NY - August 21, 2014 - The League of Women Voters of New York State is pleased to announce the launch of Vote411.org, an electronic voter guide, for select primary races.
 
Candidate information is available for candidates in the primary races for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, select NYS Senate and Assembly seats (in NYC area, Westchester County and greater capital region), and select local primary races in Westchester County. The information includes links to candidates’ social media and campaign websites. Candidates who have not yet submitted their information are listed with “Candidate Has Not Responded;” their responses will be posted as soon as the candidates provide the information.
 
It can be accessed online at vote411.org or through the Leagues’ website at lwvny.org in an easy-to-use electronic format.  Citizens can enter their addresses and compare candidate information and print a customized sample ballot prior to the primary election on September 9. Other election information, including registration, absentee ballots, etc, is also available on the Vote 411 website.
 
Candidate information for races in the November general election will be live after the Sept. 9 primary.
