Three Men Wanted for Mugging Woman at Massapequa Preserve

Massapequa, NY - August 19th, 2014 - The Seventh Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 10:15 a.m. in Massapequa.

According to detectives, a female victim 46 years of age was walking her dog on the path in Massapequa Preserve near Parkside Boulevard when she was approached from behind by three male whites on BMX bicycles. One subject knocked the victim to the ground causing her to drop her I Pod.  The subject picked up the I pod but discarded into a bush as all three fled on their bicycles to Parkside Boulevard. The victim suffered a minor laceration to her elbow.

Two subjects are described as approximately 17 years old with brown hair. The third subject is described as approximately 19 years of age with dark brown hair, and a sleeve tattoo on his right arm, wearing blue jeans.
