Two Men Wanted for Breaking Into Cars Parked at Melville Gym

Melville, NY - August 19th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two men who stole property from a locked vehicle parked at a gym last month.

Two black males went to the west side parking lot of Planet Fitness located at 25 Ruland Road, Melville on Thursday, July 3, 2014 and broke the passenger side window of a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro. The suspects removed an Android Samsung phone, a New Jersey driver’s license and cash.

The men were observed fleeing on foot in the back parking lot and then driving away in what appeared to be a grey Mercedes SUV.  

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
