Suffolk County Police Seeking Man Who Robbed Patchogue Bank

Albany, NY - August 16, 2017 - Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred in Patchogue, New York, on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 11:45 a.m.
 
A man entered Bethpage Federal Credit Union, located at 272 East Main St., at approximately 11:45 a.m., displayed a note and verbally demanded cash. The teller complied and gave the suspect cash from the drawer. The robber fled on foot.
 
The suspect was described as black, approximately 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a long-sleeved black and white shirt, red pants, sneakers, a baseball cap and sunglasses.
 
The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call Major Case Unit 631-852-6555 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
