Island Park Woman Arrested for Stealing & Reselling $59k Worth of Lego Toy Sets
Island Park, NY - August 16th, 2014 - The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of an Island Park woman on August 14, 2014 at 1:30pm for a Grand Larceny that occurred in Island Park.
According to Detectives, defendant Gloria Haas, 53, of Lorraine Road did remove approximately 800 “LEGO” toy sets valued at approximately $59,000 US currency from a storage facility located in Island Park and moved them to another facility located in Rockville Center. The investigation led to the arrest of the defendant who attempted to sell the sets on EBay.
Defendant Gloria Haas was charged with Grand Larceny and arraigned on August 15, 2014 in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
