Update - 9:30 AM - New York State Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert for Thomas O'Dwyer/August 14 has been cancelled.

West Hempstead, NY - August 15th, 2014 - At the request of the Nassau County Police Department, a New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert has been issued relating to the disappearance of Thomas O'Dwyer: age 75; from West Hempstead on August 14 at  12 P.M.

Thomas is a missing vulnerable adult with dementia, a heart condition and kidney failure. He was last seen at approximately 12 pm leaving his home driving a 2014 blue Honda Accord with New York registration GLV-7286. Thomas may appear lost or confused and may be in need of medical attention.
