Man Seriously Injured in Deer Park Shooting, According to Suffolk Police

Smithtown, NY - August 11, 2017 - Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are investigating a shooting that seriously injured a man in Deer Park, New York, on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 2:12 a.m.
 
A man sitting in a vehicle on the corner of Emerson Street and Deer Park Boulevard was shot twice at 2:12 a.m. The male shooter fled the scene.
 
The victim, a 35-year-old Deer Park man, was transported by a Deer Park Fire Department ambulance to a local hospital where he was treated for serious injuries.
 
The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the shooting to contact the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
