Additional minor coastal flooding is possible for Tuesday night and Wednesday mornings high tide cycles. * Coastal flood impacts...minor flooding of the most vulnerable shore roads and/or properties due to height of storm tide or wave splashover. Majority of roads remain passable with only isolated closures. Any impact on property is minimal. Precautionary/preparedness actions... SCPD: Motorcyclist Killed in Motor Vehicle Crash

Incident took place on Mill Road in Manorville on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at approximately 6:05 p.m.

Manorville, NY - August 9, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist in Manorville tonight.

Anthony Balbi was driving a 2012 Honda westbound on Mill Road, west of Edwards Avenue, when it appears he couldn’t maneuver a turn, drove into the woods and struck a tree at approximately 6:05 p.m.
 
Balbi was transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue, where he died from his wounds.
 
The motorcycle was impounded for a safety check. Anyone who may have witnessed this crash is asked to call the Seventh Squad at (631) 852-8752.
