NCPD RELEASE Arrest West Hempstead
West Hempstead, NY - August 10th, 2014 - According to detectives, a Lojack alarm system directed Fourth Precinct Police Officers to 440 Forest Place for a possible stolen 2008 Nissan. Upon police arrival, the defendant Pedro Arguinzoni, 39, of 440 Forest Place was observed in the driveway removing the dashboard from a 2008 Nissan. An investigation determined the auto was stolen and the defendant was placed into police custody without incident. The vehicle along with two other vehicles at the location were impounded for further investigation.
Pedro Arguinzoni is charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd Degree, Illegal Possession of Vehicle ID, and Auto Stripping. He will be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Sunday, August 10, 2014.
