Smith Haven Mall To Host 5th Annual Movies Under The Stars
Lake Grove, NY - August 8, 2017 - Join Smith Haven Mall in the Lifestyle Village every Monday evening this August for their annual event, Movies Under the Stars, featuring family-friendly films on a big screen. The event, sponsored by Suffolk Center for Speech and Your Local Kids Source, kicks off in August.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets to grab a spot early, starting at 5 p.m. for Smith Haven Mall’s family-fun entertainment and Marketplace Showcase prior to each movie. Pre-screening entertainment will include face painting, a bounce house and a DJ.

- August 14 – The Secret Life of Pets
- August 21 – Beauty and the Beast
- August 28 – Despicable Me 2
Movies Under the Stars is free and open to the public. Movies are scheduled to begin at dusk (approximately 8 p.m.) and end around 10 p.m.
Movies are shown every Monday this August. Marketplace Showcase and early seating begins at 5 p.m. Movies begin at dusk, approximately 8 p.m.
