Air quality levels in outdoor air are predicted to be greater than an air quality index value of 100 for the pollutant of ground level ozone. The air quality index...or aqi...was created as an easy way to correlate levels of different pollutants to one scale. The higher the aqi value, the greater the health concern. When pollution levels are elevated...the New York state department of health recommends that individuals consider limiting strenuous outdoor physical activity to reduce the risk of adverse health effects. People who may be especially sensitive to the effects of elevated levels of pollutants include the very Young, and those with pre-existing respiratory problems such as asthma or heart disease. Those with symptoms should consider consulting their personal physician. A toll free air quality hotline has been established so New York residents can stay informed on the air quality situation. Two Brooklyn Men Arrested for Credit Card Fraud in Westbury

Westbury, NY - August 5th, 2014 - The Third Squad reports the arrest of two Brooklyn men for Possession of a Forged Instrument that occurred on Monday, August 5, 2014 at 3:20 p.m. in Westbury.

According to detectives, Third Precinct officers responded to Target Store, 999 Corporate Drive for a call for Larceny. Upon arrival they observed the defendant Denton Saunders, 28 of Hancock Street placing packages into the trunk of a 2010 Mercedes and defendant Ryan S. Fletcher, 25 of Cadmen Plaza sitting in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. Saunders was observed dropping credit cards next to the vehicle and attempted to walk away before being stopped by an officer. The investigation revealed that the defendants were observed on store security purchasing multiple items using a stolen credit card. There were also a total of twenty two fraudulent gift cards recovered from the defendants which had been altered.

Fletcher is charged with 17 counts of Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd degree, one count of Grand Larceny 4th degree, and Identity Theft 2nd degree.

Saunders is charged with three counts of Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd degree, one count of Grand Larceny 4th degree and Identity Theft 2nd degree.

Both defendants will be arraigned on Tuesday, August 05, 2014 at First District Court in Hempstead..
