Two Hempstead Men Arrested for Uniondale Burglary

Uniondale, NY - August 5th, 2014 - The First Squad reports the arrest of two Hempstead men for Burglary that occurred on Monday, August 4, 2014 at 6:40 p.m. in Uniondale.

According to detectives, First Precinct officers responded to a call for a burglary on Fenimore Avenue. Upon their arrival the officers discovered the defendant Shukur Carrion, 20 of Dakota Place hiding in a second floor crawl space. Carrion refused to obey the officer’s orders and began flailing his arms, refusing to allow them to place him under arrest. The defendant Marlon R Castellanos, 19 of Vermont Avenue was discovered hiding in a vehicle outside the home. He was placed under arrest without incident.

Castellanos is charged with Burglary 2nd degree and Carrion is charged with Burglary 2nd degree and Resisting Arrest. They will both be arraigned on Tuesday, August 05, 2014 at First District Court in Hempstead.
