Old Bethpage, NY - August 3, 2015 - As part of its efforts to more fully ingratiate their individuals within their communities, Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE), welcomed members of Girl Scout Troop #1409 in Islip to their residence housing individuals supported by FREE.

The Girl Scouts helped members of the house bake brownies but there were other collaborative efforts in singing, talking and definitely – eating the brownies!

FREE’s staff at the house was very welcoming, and took the time to explain more about the residents who live there. Individuals in FREE’s residential programs receive skills development in such areas as socialization, recreation, problem solving, personal development, activities of daily living, travel training, health care and medication maintenance, and many more. FREE provides residential services for individuals who are differently abled in over 100 communities, throughout Long Island and New York City.
