Suffolk Legislator Trotta Welcomes Isabella Benrubi to Play the National Anthem on Violin

Smithtown, NY - August 1, 2017 - Through the Grace Music School in Fort Salonga, Suffolk County Legislator Rob Trotta recruited Isabella Benrubi to play the National Anthem on the violin prior to Southbound singing their country hits at the Smithtown Library’s summer concert series. 
 
Isabella, who takes lessons at the school, has been playing the violin since kindergarten and will be performing on tour in Alaska in August with one of her music instructors. Legislator Trotta dedicated this concert to Roseanne Kleppsattel who recently passed away and had sung the National Anthem for the last three years at these concerts.
 
Legislator Robert Trotta represents the 13th Legislative District, which includes Smithtown, Fort Salonga, Kings Park, San Remo, Nissequogue, Head of the Harbor, and St. James, as well as most of East Northport and parts of Northport and Commack.
 
Legislator Trotta serves on the Legislature’s Economic Development, Environment, Planning & Agriculture, Health,Public Works, Transportation & Energy, and Ways & Means Committees.
