Southold, NY - July 29, 2014 - Sea Tow® has received a $5,000 donation from Anheuser Busch and local Anheuser-Busch distributor Clare Rose to fund the Sea Tow Foundation’s 42 Life Jacket Loaner Stations at the locations across Long Island.

The funding is made possible through a partnership between Sea Tow Services International, Inc., the leading provider of non-emergency on-water assistance, Clare Rose and American brewing giant Anheuser-Busch of St. Louis, Mo. This is the second donation from Clare Rose and Anheuser-Busch, which will enable the non-profit Sea Tow Foundation to continue to make life jackets available to the public free of charge at these 42 Life Jacket Loaner Stands.

The Sea Tow Foundation’s national Life Jacket Loaner Station program allows boaters to borrow life jackets to replace missing, damaged or ill-fitting personal flotation devices (PFDs), or to use for extra guests on board their boats. For more information and a list of Life Jacket Loaner Stations in the U.S., please visit boatingsafety.com and click on “Safety Resources”.

“We want to thank Anheuser-Busch and Clare Rose for their generous donation in support of safe boating in our area,” said Captain Joe Frohnhoefer. “In addition to encouraging boaters to wear life jackets, we ask all boaters to be courteous on the water to other boaters and to Designate a Sober Skipper. We want to do what we can to help reduce preventable accidents and have a safer 2014 boating season.”

Added Sean Rose, President of Clare Rose,  “We are proud to contribute to Sea Tow Foundation Life Jacket Loaner Program in our area. We encourage all boaters to wear life jackets when out on the water and boat responsibly.”

Boating safety always has been Sea Tow’s number-one priority, which is what led Sea Tow Founder and CEO, Capt. Joe Frohnhoefer to establish the Sea Tow Foundation in 2007. “Sea Tow offers many innovative, free boating safety and information services to the public,” said Capt. Frohnhoefer. “These include our popular Sea Tow App for iPhones and Android smartphones and Sea Tow’s Automated Radio Check Service, in addition to the Sea Tow Foundation’s Life Jacket Loaner Station Program.”
