Take a Swing at Suffolk County Park Golf Courses – Great Golf at a Great Price!

Suffolk County, NY - July 29, 2016 - “Stay Suffolk” – Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone’s new campaign aimed at encouraging Suffolk County residents to explore parks and enjoy activities close to home will not only help to keep tax dollars here in Suffolk County, but will help residents to realize what makes Long Island’s parks, beaches, golf courses and historic sites a great vacation destination. 

If Golf is your game, the Suffolk County Parks Department has four public golf courses which offer  nine and eighteen hole golf, driving range, putting green and a restaurant/catering facility. 

Each course is also staffed by a PGA Professional and staff who provide group and individual lessons for people of all ages. 

Suffolk County’s four great golf locations include:

Timber Point Golf Course – Great River, NY  (27-hole course)  (631) 581-2401

Reservations can be made with a Suffolk County Parks green key card through the online reservation system up to seven days in advance. Same day reservations and walk-ups are available by calling the pro shops directly.
