Authorities Seeking Suspect in Connection with Gunpoint Robbery of Bellerose Terrace Gas Station

Bellerose Terrace, NY - July 26, 2017 - The Third Squad Detectives are investigating a Robbery that occurred on Sunday, July 09, 2017 at 7:40 A.M in Bellerose Terrace.
 
According to detectives, the 55 year old gas station clerk was working at the Shell Gas Station located at 238-50 Jericho Turnpike in Bellerose Terrace. A male black, approximately  50-60 years of age, 6’0” tall, 200 lbs. (no clothing description) entered the gas station and pointed a silver handgun at the clerk and demanded cash. 
 
The subject took several packs of cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of US currency. The subject then fled on foot west on Jericho Turnpike. No injuries were reported.
