Woman Arrested for Hit and Run after Striking Four Victims in Wyandanch

Wyandanch, NY - July 25th, 2014 - Suffolk County Police today arrested a woman for striking four men with her car, and then leaving the scene of the crash in Wyandanch early this morning.

Netanya Lewis was involved in an altercation on S. 32nd Street, at approximately 4 a.m. when she got in her vehicle and struck four men, and then fled the scene.

The victims were treated for minor injuries at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip.

Lewis, 18, of Melville, was charged with four counts of Assault 3rd Degree, and one count of Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Injuries.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
