July 24, 2013 - Central Islip, NY - Suffolk County Legislator Rick Montano (D-Brentwood) attended the annual barbeque sponsored by the Town of Islip Housing Authority to celebrate the communities’ elderly and family residents.
The second of three barbeques hosted every year took place at the Allyn P. Robinson Village in Central Islip. Legis. Montano had to opportunity to say hello, mingle, and enjoy lunch with residents, while some shared their concerns about issues affecting the senior population.
“I enjoy attending this annual barbeque because it gives me the opportunity to share with seniors in my community,” said Montano. “Listening to their concerns is a great way to ensure we’re continually working to address all of the issues affecting the residents of the 9th legislative district.”
