Queens Drug Dealer Nabbed with Bags of Heroin and Crack in Valley Stream, According to Officials

Valley Stream, NY - July 24, 2017 - The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Queens man for Narcotics that occurred in Valley Stream on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 4:55 pm.
 
According to Narcotics / Vice detectives and with the assistance of the Fifth Squad an investigation involving the defendant Steven C. Washington, 32, Springfield Gardens was conducted for being responsible for a serious overdose to a Nassau County resident and for possessing heroin with the intent to sell it in Valley Stream. 
 
On Saturday, July 22, 2017 detectives were led to the defendant sitting in 2015 Honda on Brookfield Road in the vicinity of Mill Road. There the detectives displayed their shields and gave several verbal commands in which the defendant complied. Washington did hand over a total of 24 bags of Heroin and 13 bags of Crack. Steven C. Washington was placed into police custody without incident.
 
Steven C. Washington is charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree. He will be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Sunday, July 23, 2017.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
