SCPD Crime Alert: Woman Wanted for Stealing TV from Setauket Walmart

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the woman who stole a television from a Setauket store last week.

Setauket, NY - July 22nd, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the woman who stole a television from a Setauket store last week.
 
A woman entered Walmart, located at 3990 Route 347, and stole a television from the store on July 16 at 4:51 p.m. An employee attempted to stop the woman and the suspect grabbed her infant and left the television on a flat hand cart. The woman, who is described as Hispanic, fled in a 2001 black Ford Expedition with New York plate number FRW 1137.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
