Suffolk County, NY - July 21, 2016 - Crime Prevention Reminder From The Suffolk County Police Department Second Precinct!

We would like to take a few moments to remind everyone of some simple yet effective ways to reduce and help prevent property crime.  Some relatively simple steps will greatly decrease the odds of a break-in at your home or to your vehicle, which means you can enjoy a bit more peace of mind!

First and foremost, please remember to lock all doors and windows in your house AND to always lock your vehicle and when possible, do not leave valuables in plain sight near windows and never leave wallets, purses or other valuables in view within your vehicle.
