This week may have been rainy, but it looks like we can look forward to a sunny weekend here on Long Island. Thankfully, this week's showers have brought us cooler temperatures for the weekend, as well as a break in the oppresive humidity that has been plaguing the Island for the past few weeks - a welcome reprieve for many. Although the 4th of July has come and gone, there are still plenty of great events happening on LI, as well as countless great outdoor things to do this weekend, and all summer long. Bay Street Theatre Hosts Kids Summer Theatre Camp 
Sessions July 22nd - 26th, August 5th-9th, and 12th - 16th!
This summer, let your child take center stage at Bay Street Theatre's Kids Summer Theatre Camps! There will be camp sessions this summer July 22nd - 26th, August 5th - 9th, and August 12th - 16th. The camp focuses on teaching children ages 8-12 the aspects of improv, vocal instruction, dance, and more - perfect for any child who is passionate about the arts. The camp runs Monday - Friday from 9:30AM - 12:30PM, and will be held at Studio 3 in Bridgehampton. Space is limited, so give Bay Street a call today for pricing and more information!

Lynbrook's Greis Veteran's Memorial Park in 3rd Place in Coca-Cola Contest
 Find Out How to Vote, & Help the Park Win a Grant!
The Coca-Cola company is holding a contest searching for America’s favorite park and Lynbrook's Greis Veterans Memorial Park is in third place. You can vote for the park which proudly sits in our own backyard at Coke.com/parkstoday. Long Islanders have until July 15 at 11:59pm to cast their votes. Votes count twice next week on July 13 and 14. The official Greis Facbook has been active in pushing for more votes. “The heat is on! We have now arrived to 3rd but need to be strong and keep on spreading the word until July 15th!” Says the Facebook Page. The winning park is awarded a $100,000 grant. Second wins a $50,000 grant, and third is awarded a $25,000 grant. Any park placed between 4th and 25th is eligible to receive a $15,000 grant in a random drawing. Greis is behind first place Veterans Memorial Park in tornado ravaged Moore, OK, and VA’s Mason Neck State Park.

Walk at Westhampton Beach on October 26th, 2013!
Join us for the 2013 Walk For Alzheimer’s, raising awareness and funds to help support local research as well as local families who ae coping with a diagnosis of dementia and/or Alzheimer’s Disease. Walk and Clambake will be held in Riverhead on August 24th; Walkd and Mexican Fiesta will be held in Old Bethpage Village Restoration on September 7th and Walk and Fall Festival will be held in Westhampton Beach on October 26th, 2013. The fair will feature dozens of vendors exhibiting handcrafted items, jewelry, accessories, clothing, home decor, any many more unique gift items! The event will take place from 11AM-6PM daily. Amsterdam Beach Trail
If you’re looking to get outside and enjoy the good weather this weekend, then head on out to Montauk and walk the Amsterdam Beach Trail. Enjoy a 2 to 2.5 mile hike that crosses several small streams for a relaxing Saturday morning starting at 9am. Meet at the small parking lot on route 27 about 3 miles east of Montauk Village across from Deep Hollow Ranch Stables and bring water to keep hydrated!
Babylon Free Dental Care Day
Are you in need of free dental care?
