The suspect vehicle is described as an older model black colored Acura RSX, 2 door sedan with blacked out taillights and a tinted license plate cover. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call 800-244-TIPS.

Island Park, NY - July 16, 2016 - The Fourth Squad reports the details of a Serious Vehicular Accident that occurred at 2:23am on Saturday, July 16, 2016 in Island Park.

According to Detectives, the thirty-one year old female victim was riding her bicycle eastbound on Railroad Avenue; she made a right turn onto Long Beach Road travelling southbound and then fell off her bicycle into the right traffic lane.  At that time the suspect vehicle did run over the victim and fled the scene southbound on Long Beach Road.  The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of internal injuries and is listed in critical condition.  The suspect vehicle is described as an older model black colored Acura RSX, 2 door sedan with blacked out taillights and a tinted license plate cover.
