Centerreach, NY - July 15, 2015 - Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a man in Centereach today.
Michael Negron was driving a 1997 Ford Explorer northbound on Nicolls Road when he apparently lost control of the vehicle striking a guardrail which caused the vehicle to enter the median and overturn onto the southbound lane. Negron, who was alone, was ejected from the vehicle.
Negron, 35 of Bellport, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital via Centereach Ambulance where he was listed in serious condition.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed or have information on this crash to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.
