Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a two-car crash that killed a Miller Place woman shortly after midnight today.

Coram, NY - July 14th, 2013 - Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a two-car crash that killed a Miller Place woman shortly after midnight today.

Linzie Davis was driving a 2010 Nissan sedan westbound on Middle Country Road near the intersection of Fife Drive in Coram at 12:12 a.m. when her vehicle was involved in a collision with a 2001 pickup truck driven by Bryan Gregory of Yaphank.

Davis, 25, of Miller Place, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner. Gregory, 17, was transported by Coram Fire Department Rescue to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652. All calls will remain confidential.
