Nassau County Police Officers Assist in Delivery of Massapequa Baby Boy
Massapequa, NY - July 14, 2017 - The Seventh Precinct reports the details of an Aided Case which occurred on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 12:05 am in Massapequa.
According to Police, officers responded to a 911 call for a woman, 26, having contractions at her Shell Street residence. The woman, who was nine (9) months pregnant, was being transported to an area hospital when officers and a police medic stopped the ambulance and delivered a baby boy.
The Mother and her son were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital and admitted.
