Farmingdale High School Environmental Club Cleans Up Natural Preserve
Farmingdale, NY – July 12, 2017 – The Farmingdale School District recently sponsored a trip for environmentally-conscious families and students of all ages to aid in protection efforts for the Massapequa Preserve.
The families cleaned up the preserve by searching for and bagging garbage, monitoring the ecology of the woods and maintaining natural beauty of the waterways.
This trip was part of a Farmingdale School District initiative to provide a high-quality environmental education and help students take action to protect the planet in their community and around the globe.
