"Special Statement" ...Locally dense fog early this morning across Long Island and portions of New York City and southern Connecticut... Areas of fog continues across Long Island and portions of southern Connecticut and New York City, and is expected to linger through at least the rush hour across most areas. While visibilities were generally 1 to 3 miles, however, at times, the fog was locally dense with visibilities as low as 1/4 mile or less at times. Police: Syosset Woman Previously Reported Missing Discovered Deceased

Deborah O’Connor, 58, was found in a sump located in the rear of 265 Jericho Turnpike, cops say.

Deborah O’Connor, 58, a Syosset woman previously reported missing has been discovered deceased by authorities.

Syosset, NY - July 11, 2017 - The Homicide Squad is investigating a Found Body that occurred on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 3:00 pm in Syosset.
According to detectives, a deceased female body was found in a sump located in the rear of 265 Jericho Turnpike. After an investigation it was determined that the deceased was that of Deborah O’Connor, 58, who was reported missing from Syosset on Thursday, July 6, 2017.  
The body was removed to the Nassau County Medical Examiner’s Office for further examination and evaluation. 
There appears to be no criminality at this time.
