A heat advisory is issued when the combination of heat and humidity is expected to make it feel like it is 95 to 99 degrees for two or more consecutive days, or 100 to 104 degrees for any length of time. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the occupational safety and health administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments. NCPD Seeking Individuals Responsible for Painting Racial Slurs, Swastika on Hicksville Van

According to detectives, an unknown subject(s) defaced and vandalized a white van parked on Benjamin Ave.

Hicksville, NY - July 11, 2017 - Second Squad detectives are investigating a bias incident that occurred in Hicksville between Saturday, 07/08/17 at 8:00 P.M. through Sunday, 07/09/17 at 6:00 A.M.
 
According to detectives, an unknown subject(s) spray painted racial slurs and a swastika on a white van parked on Benjamin Ave. The glass on the side mirrors was also broken. The victim also found the side mirrors broken on his Ford Explorer.
