Hauppauge, NY - July 10, 2016 - Suffolk County SPCA Chief Roy Gross, along with Suffolk County officials and volunteers from the SAVE-A-PET Animal Shelter, will join severely neglected dachshunds just rescued from a Hauppauge, Long Island home on Monday, July 11, 2016, at 2PM at the SAVE-A-PET Animal Shelter (608 NY-112, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776).

Suffolk SPCA and animal shelter officials will give a public update on the health and well-being of the twenty-seven rescued canines that were found living in deplorable and critical conditions before being saved.
