Police Searching for Women Who Stole Credit Cards, Went on East End Shopping Spree

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and East Hampton Town Police Department detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two women wanted for questioning in a grand larceny investigation.

East Hampton, NY - July 7th, 2015 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and East Hampton Town Police Department detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two women wanted for questioning in a grand larceny investigation.
 
An unknown person or people stole two credit cards from an East Hampton resident sometime in April. Before the victim realized the cards were missing, two women were seen using the credit cards to buy groceries, toiletries and other items at stores in East Hampton, Bridgehampton and Amagansett between April 8 and May 25.
 
One of the females is described as white, 5 feet 5 inches tall in her late 20s to early 30s with blond hair. She was a passenger in newer model Chevrolet Traverse during one of the transactions. The other female is white or Hispanic, 5 feet 3 inches tall, approximately 140 pounds with dark hair. 
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
