Hicksville, NY - July 6th, 2015 - The Second Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 4:45 am in Hicksville.
According to detectives, a female victim, 42, was walking through Cantiague Park - West John Street, when two unknown subjects approached her from behind and attempted to take her pocketbook. When the victim turned around she observed one of the subjects pointing a black handgun. The subjects then went through the victims’ pant pockets and took an undetermined amount of US currency. The subjects then fled on two black bicycles westbound on John Street.
Subject #1 is described as a male black in his twenties, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants. Subject #2 is described as a male black in his twenties, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants. There were no injuries reported.
