Cub Scout Troop 326 Visits the Suffolk County Legislature and Meet Suffolk County Legislators Leslie Kennedy and Rob Trotta

Smithtown, NY - July 5, 2016 - Cub Scout Troop 326 of Smithtown came to learn about the legislative process as part of their scouting program. Suffolk County Legislators Rob Trotta and Leslie Kennedy met with the scouts and they talked about the Legislature, banning plastic bags and the Red Light Camera Program.

“I think the Boy Scouts provide a great opportunity for our youth and I hope that these young men will continue with the Boy Scouts and become Eagle Scouts,” said Legislator Rob Trotta.

Legislator Robert Trotta represents the 13th Legislative District, which includes Smithtown, Fort Salonga, Kings Park, San Remo, Nissequogue, Head of the Harbor, and St. James, as well as most of East Northport and parts of Northport and Commack.

Legislator Trotta serves on the Legislature’s Economic Development, Environment, Planning & Agriculture, Health, Public Works, Transportation & Energy, and Ways & Means Committees.
