Three Men Wanted for Threatening Victim with Machete, Stealing Credit Cards

Bay Shore, NY - July 3rd, 2014 -  Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the men who robbed a male victim with a machete last year.

On Sunday, September 29, 2013, three Hispanic men jumped out of a silver minivan and robbed a male victim that was walking on Stein Drive in North Bay Shore at approximately 12:30 a.m.  The suspects threatened the victim with a machete and stole his wallet containing cash and a debit card.

Shortly after the robbery, the suspects used the stolen card at the 7-Eleven located on Union Avenue in Bay Shore and at the Hess gas station located on Route 111 in Islip.  They were seen leaving in a black 4-door sedan, possibly a Honda Civic.

One of the men is described as Hispanic in his mid-30s with a medium build, black hair and a mustache.  He was wearing black pants, a black t-shirt and a black jacket.  Another suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his mid-30s, with a heavy build and black hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt and black pants.  There is no description on the third suspect.
