Commack, NY - June 29th, 2016 - Long Island Media, Inc. is proud to announce that Mr. Bob Hall has joined their advertising team as Senior Sales Executive, with the goal of enhancing the local business advertising programs for LongIsland.com, Long Island’s Most Popular Website Since 1996, and its affiliated network of websites.

Hall, formerly of All Island Media – publisher of the Pennysaver, Town Crier, Long Island Trends and other print publications – comes to Long Island Media with a diverse portfolio of experience and skills acquired over a varied career in the marketing industry. Hall noted that the switch from a print medium to digital will prove to be an exciting endeavor because of the greater effectiveness, flexibility and creativity that digital format provides.

"At All Island Media, I was a marketing sales rep that worked with a very diverse array of clients. I worked with contractors, service businesses, as well as many hospitals and medical practices, including Zwanger Pesiri, Good Samaritan and St. Charles Hospitals. In 2011, I also created a Health & Wellness feature in their publications," he said.

"I have learned over all the years that I have been in marketing and sales that is critical to create an engaging advertising/marketing campaign for clients. I’m saying that it’s important not to keep any program the same and static…with digital programs, accomplishing this is sure to be much easier than in a print environment."

Hall said that the decision to join Long Island Media was an easy one - after meeting extensively with Chief Executive Officer John Colascione, Hall noted that he was excited at the prospect of working with an organization with the reach and resources that will enable him to continue to expand and grow, both professionally and personally, while at the same time affording the same benefits to his new employer - Long Island Media Inc.

"My primary reason for coming over to Long Island Media was that the company’s marketing platforms afford me a great deal more options to offer clients,” he said. “As a creative person, John has been very receptive to many new ideas and enhancements that I have suggested. I look forward to getting involved in new projects that grow billable revenues."

After living in Port Jefferson Station for 37 years, Hall said that he and his wife moved to a two bedroom ranch located in Birchwood at Spring Lake, a gated community in Middle Island, one year ago. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Hall noted that while it’s important to work hard and be devoted to your career, family and the outdoors also matter to him equally.

"We have two daughters and three grandchildren that live within 15 minutes of us, and we enjoy swimming all year-round in the indoor and outdoor pools," he said. "I am hoping to get back to playing billiards and golf at the communities 9-hole golf course on a regular basis."

After a decades-long career in the sales and marketing field, Hall has learned many lessons, but one has stuck with him the most - the need for having goals, and the ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances in order to succeed to the best of your ability…it’s that drive that he plans on bringing to Long Island Media.

"When obstacles arise, you change your direction to reach your goal, you do not change your decision to get there."
