Queens Man Arrested for Threatening to Bomb NYPD & NCPD Precincts

Westbury, NY - June 28th, 2014 - Second Squad detective report the details of an arrest for making a terrorist threat that occurred in Westbury on Friday, 06/27/14 at 3:20 A.M.
 
According to detectives, Richard Bolton, 30, of 102-46 228th St., Queens Village, called the Nassau County Communications 911 desk and stated he was strapped with a bomb in the vicinity of 165th Street in Jamaica, Queens,  was going to blow up a New York City Police Precinct and then come to Nassau County and also blow up more precincts.  The defendant stated he was upset because he had been written summonses in Queens.
 
Upon further investigation, Second Squad detectives located Bolton in Queens on Friday 06/27/14 and placed him under arrest.  He is being charged with Making a Terroristic Threat and will be arraigned on Saturday, 06/28/14 in First District Court, Hempstead.
