"Wind Advisory" ...Wind Advisory in effect until 2 am EDT Thursday... The National Weather Service in New York has issued a Wind Advisory...which is in effect until 2 am EDT Thursday. * Locations...coastal Connecticut from New Haven east...and all of Suffolk County Long Island. * Hazards...strong winds. * Winds...north 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. * Timing...until 2 am. * Impacts...strong northerly winds may down power lines and a few trees...and make driving difficult on elevated roadways and bridges. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph... or gusts of 46 to 57 mph...are expected or occurring. Winds this strong can make driving difficult...especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. , "Special Statement" ...Strong thunderstorms will impact Suffolk and eastern Nassau counties... At 916 PM EDT...National Weather Service Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles south of Branford to Center Moriches to Shinnecock Hills to East Hampton...and moving west at 50 mph. People in Suffolk and eastern Nassau counties...including Westhampton...Bridgehampton...East Hampton...Shinnecock Hills...Mastic Beach...Manorville...Davis Park...Center Moriches...Sag Harbor and Riverhead...should monitor the weather situation closely. Listen for possible warnings and be prepared to take appropriate action should severe weather threaten. Gusty winds up to 50 mph are expected with these storms. In addition...very heavy rain...with rainfall rates of up to one to one and one half inches an hour...is occurring with these storms. This could cause ponding of water on roadways... and minor flooding of poor drainage areas. Lightning is one of natures number one killers. Remember...if you can hear thunder...you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter immediately. Sag Harbor, NY - June 28th, 2014 - Bay Street Theater is pleased to announce that Heather McDonald will be on stage as part of the Comedy Club, sponsored by Saunders & Associates, on Monday, July 7 at 8 pm. Heather McDonald continues the Comedy Club series on July 7. McDonald doesn’t hold back on anything, especially when it comes to demonstrating her many talents. She continuously proves to master her craft as a comedian, actress, story producer, and best-selling author. Currently in her sixth season, McDonald is best known for her roundtable appearances on E!’s top rated show Chelsea Lately and she became a breakout star on the E! comedic "mockumentary" series, After Lately, which chronicled the ‘behind-the-scenes’ shenanigans of the ‘Chelsea Lately’ cast and crew.
 
On top of being a full-time writer and story producer for Chelsea Lately, McDonald is also a regular collaborator with the Wayans Brothers; serving as a writer on their features White Chicks and Dance Flick. Heather is also a featured performer on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and has been a guest star on the hit television series Frasier, Malcolm in the Middle, Reno 911 and Nickelodeon’s Drake and Josh.
