SCPD Searching for Miller Place Gas Station Robber

Police are trying to identify the man who robbed a gas station in May.

Miller Place, NY - June 24, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who robbed a gas station in Miller Place in May.
 
A man entered the BP gas station, located at 356 Route. 25A, on May 27 at approximately 11:05 p.m., displayed what appeared to be a handgun and demanded cash. The man fled with money into a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
 
The suspect is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches to five feet 9 inches tall and 140 to 170 pounds. He was wearing a black hat, and black ankle-high sneakers.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
