Police: A suspect used stolen credit card info to charge purchases using the “Apple Pay’ app at the Soundview Market Place.

NCPD have released photos of a suspect wanted in connection with an Identity Fraud that occurred on Monday, June 5, in Port Washington.

Port Washington, NY - June 23, 2017 - The Port Washington Police District reports the details of an Identity Fraud that occurred on Monday, June 5, 2017 in Port Washington.
 
According to Detectives, the male victim, 28, was notified by Chase Bank that there was suspicious activity on his credit card. The victim verified that he was still in possession of his credit card and had not given anyone permission to charge purchases using the "Apple Pay" app at the Soundview Market Place in Port Washington.  
 
The suspect is described as a male black, medium build, facial hair, wearing a baseball cap and sweatshirt.
 
Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Port Washington Police at 516-883-0500 ext. 307.  All callers will remain anonymous.
