NCPD: Robbery in Hempstead

Hempstead, NY - June 22, 2014 - The Third Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 1:35 am in Hempstead.
 
According to detectives, two 19 year old victims (male and female) were walking in front of 6 Butler Place, when they were approached by two unknown female hispanics who engaged them in conversation. Subject # 1 is described as 5’5”, heavy build, wearing a pink t-shirt. There is no further description for subject # 2.   As the victims tried to walk away two males approached them displaying a black handgun and demanded property.  Subject # 1 knocked the female victim to the ground and stole an I- phone, a watch, bracelet and necklace.  The male victim was punched in the face by subject # 4 who proceeded to take his I-phone and watch.  Subject # 3 is described as a male black, 6 foot, thin build, wearing a red bandana across his face. Subject # 4 is described only as a male black. The four subjects fled the scene in a late model silver Honda.  The victims refused medical assistance at the scene.
